THE EUROPEAN HAPKIDO ALLIANCE RAISES OVER £600 FOR CHARITY!
Grandmaster Sam Plumb organised a charity seminar & demonstration of Korean martial arts to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and
Children with Cancer UK.
On 2nd July 2023 students from Hapkido, Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo attended the event at the dojang of Sam Plumb who is President of the
EHA.
The event raised more than £600 which will be donated to the above charities. Hapkido skills were taught by Grandmaster Sam Plumb, Master Nick Sellars
and Master David Hastings. Special thanks must be given to Tang Soo Do Masters Ricki Baldantoni and Lisa Coupe who brought their students to support the event and demonstrated Tang Soo Do forms.
Demonstrations of Hapkido skills were given by Master Matthew Lyons, James Hogg and Charlie Hogg with support from juniors Holly Raisbeck and George Austin.
Special thanks also to Tim Woolley for allowing us to use Whitwell Community Centre for the event and Amanda Beamish for giving up her time to welcome
us into the venue.
Many thanks also to Dallas Plumb, Toni Plumb and Katie Phillips for preparing Korean food for everyone.
Thank you everyone for your support!
